OUT-OF-PROVINCE STUDENT TUITION CHARGES Background At the discretion of the chief superintendent, out-of-province students (grades 1-12) who do not meet the criteria of residence for school purposes may be enrolled in district schools and programs. Tuition rates for out of province students will be approved annually by the Board. Procedures 1. Out-of-province student fees are due and payable within fifteen (15) days of commencement of each semester. Failure to pay said fees on or before the expiration of this time period will result in termination of the student’s eligibility to attend the school unless specific arrangements have been made and approved by the secretary treasurer. 2. The secretary treasurer is authorized to waive or reduce tuition rates when severe hardships or very unique circumstances warrant special considerations.
