Discussion Topics/Actions Taken Cal State Games - March 11 & 12, 2017 • review of Sign Up Genius, send out a reminder to parents to volunteer (Ashley) • Ashley to have a member of her staff present on both days to monitor the ticket/food/candy-gram sales. Lisa to be present for back-up as well • estimated attendance ~350 gymnasts • judges are scheduled, announcer is scheduled • Ashley needs help prior to the meet getting score cards organized • Coaches/judges dinners: Rubio’s, O’s or Los Primo’s

Cal State Games continued • Coaches/judges breakfasts: croissants, muffins, coffee (Rahn to bring Kurig on Friday, 3/10) • breakfast to be ready by ~8:15 am both days • tables/chairs, awards provided by Sandy (Cal State) • will provide pizza to sell from Costco or Papa John’s (Lisa to call PJ to get pricing) • Karen received list from Ashley about items to purchase for candy-gram/flower sales • estimated need of ~125 assorted flowers • need buckets for the flowers (Lisa, Ashley), ribbons (Ashley) • crock pots (Y has) • ladle for nacho cheese (?) • need signs (Ashley’s staff will do this) • plastic to line gym floor so food can be brought in (Lisa) • additional fundraiser idea - “shout-outs” • pop-up tents for check in and food sales/candy-gram tables (?) • programs will be sold (Crystal) • wrist bands (Lisa ordering), will have a multi-session price for wrist bands • if volunteers work the session before or the session after their child competes, they don’t need to pay for admission

Campaign • Ashley has volunteers to work at the tables at the front of the lobby • parents participated in the bike-a-thon

Fundraising •

next restaurant fundraiser to be in early April, will try for 2 days

coupons will be printed and given to gymnasts and families to make sure we get credit for their participation

Money in PAC Account • money has to be used for purchases by May 1st • Ashley still getting gym rental fee from UCSD students

Banquet •

would consider change of location from Bali Hai Restaurant due to problems last year

location would need a banquet room and AV equipment

looking at May 17 (boys) and 24th (girls)

•

Julie, Lisa, Karen, Jason to make some calls to various places
