2. SALUTATION TO TRIPLE GEM Upon the registration of attendance, the congregation took refuge in the Triple Gem and observed the Five Precepts. 3. ADVISOR’S ADDRESS Venerable B. Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera, the Chief Monk of Sentul Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple, Kuala Lumpur gave a speech on the importance of helping the community to achieve better mental health. He also advised BMHA to apply for donation from the Berjaya Group Foundation. 4. PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS The President, Dr. Phang Cheng Kar gave an introduction to BMHA and a summary of the activities that were carried out in 2013. Lastly, the President thanked the outgoing committee members and everyone for their commitment, good work and support. 5. TO RECEIVE AND ADOPT THE MINUTES OF THE 4th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The minutes of the 4th Annual General Meeting was presented by the President, Dr. Phang Cheng Kar. 1

10. APPOINTMENT OF 1 HONORARY AUDITOR The following two members were appointed by the committee members as auditors for the period of 2013-2015: Mr. Lee Ming Tzyy Mr. Steven Lim Hoo Teck Proposed by: Irene Ang Seconded by: Chiang Khai Chong

11. ADDRESS BY THE NEW PRESIDENT The new President, Dr. Phang Cheng Kar thanked the members for having confidence in him. He was glad to see new faces among the elected executive committee members. With his dedicated team, he said he would try his best to take BMHA to a higher level with more enriching programs. 12. AMMENDMENT OF CONSTITUTION 12.1 Election of all committee members and appointment of auditors will be held every two years (instead of one year). This will take immediate effect from the current board of committee members and auditors. The next election of new committee members will only be held in 2015 (5th Annual General Meeting). 13. ANNOUNCEMENTS  Mindful Zest will be held on every 2nd Saturday of the month.  The next Mindful-Gym intakes are in March, May & September, 2013. 2

14. MEETING ADJOURNED The meeting adjourned at 7.00 pm with a vote of thanks to Ven. B. Saranankhara (Spiritual Adviser), Dr. Tan Eng Kong (Adviser), Ti-Ratana Lumbini Garden and Brickfields Maha Vihara. Refreshment was served (sponsored by Bonnie) and everyone enjoyed the fellowship.
