Administrator’s Message Thank you to all the families who attended our Family Fun Activity of BINGO on October 25, 2016. It was nice to see so many happy participants, and lucky winners. November brings our first Parent Teacher Conference, in the afternoon and evening of Thursday, November 3, 2016. We will be having a half day on this day, so dismissal will be at 11:20 am. Lunch will be served to the students on an earlier schedule. The first conference session will be from 12:30 to 2:30, and the second session will be 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Our Chancellor has advised that we include students in the conference process, so feel free to bring your child to participate in the conversation. Don’t forget to swing down to the basement for

our Book Fair, hosted by our incredible PTA! Please note, there will be no school for students on Election Day, November 8th, Veterans Day, November 11th, and Thanksgiving, November 24th and 25th. The weather is getting colder, but we would like to continue to allow the students the opportunity for outdoor lineup and recess, as long as they are dressed appropriately. Thank you to the PTA, and all the parent volunteers who helped out with the Pumpkin Patch, Dance, Parade, and the New York Cares Event. We appreciate all you do for the P.S. 2 Community! Continue to drop by our website (WWW.PS2Q.ORG) for important events, handouts, and grade level information!
