Live Q&A with Kris on Feb 7: Hi Everyone - hope you are holding tight & staying as safe as possible during this correction. While I think there is still more blood to come before Chinese New Year, the mid to long term potential of the market is exactly the same as it was in December: we are changing the world together. Market will catch up to that reality sooner or later. In the meantime, the team at Monaco is relentlessly focused on our app releases, which have now daily cadence. I noticed a request for actual phone screenshots so here's a little something from my phone.

As you can see by my account balance, I was hit hard this week. Let's kick off the Q&A with the answers to the questions collected by Ally. (Attachment uploaded)



Live Chat Questions: 1. Screen looks a lot different from last week, these changes were made recently? This is part of the dashboard that you will see when you download the app, there is so much more to it... We literally have more than 1000+ screens that were designed in the last 6 months... More on what got into the final version of the app soon. 2. We're all extremely anxious for the uppercut. How much longer do we have to wait? We love how the app looks like right now, getting really close to Going Gold. 3. Any updates on when we can expect cards in Canada? Same release as for the US? Our US issuer does not have an immediate solution for Canada at the moment. 4. Kris, how did the conference go? we met with CEOs of other projects outside the conference, which was productive and will result in interesting partnerships later on; we also met a few great candidates (hires) and potential advisory board members; Eric did great on one of the panels, I also did a very casual interview with a Singapore based Youtuber with 100k+ subs, they are targeting noobs, so don't expect new information in that one. The biggest let down of the conference was the quality of new projects coming to market to raise funds - really terrible. 5. Is Eric Anziani a full-time hire or part-time? I know sometimes in finance folks are brought on part time, but still awarded titles like SVP, so I thought I'd ask Eric is 1000% full time. We're super lucky to have him onboard - very relevant experience from GFG (where he ran CEO's office, special projects and group strategy), PayPal, McKinsey and Goldman Sachs. Eric is an avid cryptocurrency investor, he will drive our strategy, partnerships, and you can see him a lot on the conference circuit this year. Further down the road, investments & M&A will also be a part of his remit.

6. To the main question Kris, when moon? We were waiting for Elon to send Starman to the orbit before we send MCO to the moon. It's just basic courtesy. Now, there's nothing really stopping us. Let the skies over the crypto market clear a bit and we are good for take-off after CNY ;) 7. What is "Track Coins"? You will be able to track your fave coins, set alerts and such, even for those that are not currently a part of your wallet. 8. When will the cashback start being paid, from the very first payment made with the card with the Beta testers? Yes. 9. Being Canadian, can I apply for a card through the US? I spend time in both countries, have bank accounts in both, and have shipping addresses in both. What will be the requirements to get a card from a certain country? Just doesn't work for this particular issuer. We are working on an alternative solution for Canada. 10. Will the rose gold and space gray color only be polished or completely change? Hard to polish, material limitations. We are looking at an upgrade to something better. Expect some previews on Instagram soon. 11. It is hard to understand what is happening inside the black box of Monaco. If a partnership were to fall through or be blocked by regulation for an extended period of time... (like for instance the uppercut) would you tell us rather than just pivot and say coming soon? Black box is necessary for certain market-sensitive, under-NDA news. We just posted a strategic partnership announcement as a part of our roadmap couple of weeks ago. We wouldn't do that if there was a plan to pivot away from it.



12. Any plans for pre-launch marketing? Like Apple TV ads in the works. It is SOOOO GOOOOD. 13. What do you think of the SEC/CFTC hearing today in the US regarding crypto but more specifically the desire to push for all utility tokens to be classified as securities? I think we couldn't have asked for a better, more balanced and measured hearing. 14. Any overseas travel lined up before Singapore, Kris? Korea and Japan. 15. How fast will it be to buy crypto on the app? One of the areas we are working on. The higher the confidence level in our fraud prevention / rules engine the faster the crypto credit is going to be. Users need to understand that we are a prime target the moment we launch and we have to act accordingly. 16. What about Revolut solution compared to Monaco one? We have a lot of respect for what Revolut have built in fintech, but their are not exactly focused on crypto, which shows in their app functionality. 17. The "Strategic partnership" was destined for January, last Q&A you said it may move into early February, any news today on the Strategic partnership front? Good things come to those who HODL. 18. Spill to march? Nope. 19. Will Matt ever be added to the team page on the Monaco site? We should probably include everyone on the page. It's a team effort and we have been so fortunate in bringing onboard amazing people!!!



20. Now that other Crypto cards have moved to Wirecard and are saying they will ship in Q1, is it still your opinion that Monaco is ahead with regards to getting cards to market? Of course. 21. Yep, please make the app better than Blockfolio Kris... That would be a killer feature. We want users to open Monaco 1,000 times per day. It's a great opportunity for habit-forming. 22. I'm curious about the future marketing. Finish this sentence. "My uncle realized that he needed a Monaco card when he saw the ad in the ______" Define future. 12 months? "My uncle realized that he needed a Monaco card when he saw the ad in the first half of the Superbowl" ;) 23.You mention wanting to have 200+ coins listed by the end of the year, is there any indication of how many we'll start with? To do right by MCO token holders, we have strong incentive to wait a few weeks before we start listing the coins. Think two words: DROP. AIR. 24.Did you sell the dip you bought before last Q&A?
