ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES The Berkeley campus of the University of California requests that architects submit written statements of qualifications for providing architectural, structural, and MEP engineering services for the following proposed project: Haas Pavilion Student Athlete Study Lounge Project No. 12656A This project includes demolishing the tickets sales windows at the East entrance of the Haas Pavilion and building a student study space which will also function as a game night hospitality space. The work will include demolition, architectural finishes, glazing, mechanical, electrical, and audiovisual systems to support the space, and new bleachers on the east side of the bowl floor. The anticipated construction cost is $600,000 with a target of occupancy in Fall 2016. The successful firm will be required to sign the University’s Executive Design Professional Agreement, the template of which is available for review at: http://realestate.berkeley.edu/sites/default/files/edpa_verb_lumpsum_rev2008.pdf The statements should be in the form of a brief letter (maximum 2 pages), outlining specific, and comparable project experience. Include the scope, size and value of the comparable work, provide contact information, and identify the key staff who will be committed to the project on a day-to-day basis.
