Conditions of Entry Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. 1. To compete in any PC events you must be 25 yrs or under 2. Open Riders a. Everybody fills in the Liability Declaration Form b. $10 Day Attendance Fee is due UNLESS you are a financial member* of EV/EA; AHS; SHCA; HRCAV; AERA; an Interstate Pony Club; or can prove personal Liability Cover of at least $10,000,000. *Must produce proof. c. Riders without adequate Insurance Cover pay $10 for Liability Only cover for the duration of the event. (Not personal Medical) and complete the Day Participant Waiver. d. PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary’s office. PCAV Insurance Policy specifically states anyone not following PCAV Rules may be left uninsured. 3. Only snaffle bits in Pony Club Ring 4. Approved PCAV helmets and approved riding boots must be worn at all times. Spot checks to ensure compliance may occur. 5. Pony Club cards must be presented for checking at beginning of day 6. Medical Armbands are required to be worn by all competitors (including non-pony club).
7. The Judges decision is final 8. Queries, protests, horse abuse as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws. 9. Jumping – All show jumping will be conducted in accordance with PCAV Rules and Regulations. Horses are restricted to 2 competition starts per day. 10. Freshman to nominate scoring grade 11. No refunds on unused tickets - no tickets are to be used from other events 12. Novice means never having won a first prize in that specific event at a gymkhana 13. Local – the competitor must reside within 25 km of Sale Post Office 14. Committee reserves the right to alter any event or age group 15. No stallions, colts or rigs allowed or mounts under 4 years of age allowed. 16. No ring will be held up for any competitor 17. One horse, one rider 18. All competitors ride at their own risk and all people and their charges, enter the grounds at their own risk. 19. PCAV Alcohol Policy applies. 20. PCAV Lungeing Policy applies. 21. Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

If you have no card, you cannot ride pony club. All Pony Club members must be gear checked prior to commencement of event. Gear checking will be near the ticket booth.
