[email protected] The City of Iriga, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) hereby invites all interested contractor to submit bid for the herein project, to wit: Name of Project: Desilting/Clearing of Sulong Creek from back of Petron Gas Station to Balos River, San Roque – San Miguel – San Francisco – Francia, Iriga City Location: Iriga City ABC: Php 900,000.00 Bid Document: 1,000.00 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on October 3, 2016, from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 NN and from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday, and up to 9:00 A.M. on the last day of the issuance and acquisition of bid docs, at the City Engineer’s Office, New Government Center, Sta. Cruz Sur, Iriga City and upon payment of non-refundable fees stated above for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPBB. A pre-bid conference for the purpose will be held on October 7, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the City Mayor’s Conference Room, New Government Center, Sta. Cruz Sur, Iriga City. Only those who have purchased bidding documents will be allowed to participate in the pre-bid conference. Deadline for the submission of the Bid/Tender Documents/Forms is on October 20, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. at the BAC Secretariat Office, New Government Center, Sta. Cruz Sur, Iriga City. The opening of bids will be held on the same day, October 20, 2016 at City Mayor’s Conference Room, New Government Center, Sta. Cruz Sur, Iriga City.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Revised Implementing Procedures and Regulations (IRR) OF Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Act”. Bids received in excess of the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. All particulars relative to eligibility screening, bid security, performance security, pre-bid conference/s evaluation of bids, post qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Revised IRR. The Office of the Bids and Awards Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids without offering any reason, to waive any formality or technicality, and to award to any bidder whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the City Government. The City Government neither assumes any obligations to compensate or indemnify bidders for any loss whatsoever that maybe incurred in the preparation of their respective bids, nor does the City Government guarantee that an award will be made.
