We understand that if the parking pass is not displayed in the front window of the car, where it can be easily seen, the vehicle may be towed at my expense. Greenville Automotive will be providing the towing. We understand we must turn in the parking pass when any of the following occur: student withdraws; graduates or transfers from South Central High School. Parent Signature _________________________ Student Signature________________________ South Central High School Parking Expectations Expectations are in effect during the school day (8:00 am till 3:40 pm). Certain evening events may preclude the ability to park in the designated spot. Hang your tag from your mirror or set it on the dash so it is easily seen, displaying the spot number. Cars without tags may be ticketed or towed. 1. Vehicle should be parked straight and in the correct spot. 2. No one should be in the lot during the day. ​ You will not be allowed to go back to the lot to retrieve items, get lunch money,etc. 3. Loitering in the parking lot should be avoided. Loitering before school in the lot is prohibited. Students should enter the building within 2 minutes of parking. Leave in a prompt manner after school. You should keep the area around your spot clean. 4. Do not leave during the school day (i.e. going to lunch), unless an early release student. There are NO exceptions. You must follow proper check out procedures. All students leaving will be suspended for at least 2 days​ .​ If you do, you will lose your parking privileges for 3 days (After the suspension) the first time and 10 days if repeated.​ Do not allow others ​ to drive your vehicle to get food or other items. Both the person driving and the vehicle owner will be suspended. You may not leave during FLEX, even if it is a period you do not have a class. 5. Traffic laws should be followed. Follow the directions of any school personnel. Avoid cutting through parking spaces and respect others. Do not drive behind the building to the bus lot. Follow safety cones carefully and allow safe space when leaving, driving slowly. If you do have an accident report it and stay until law enforcement comes. 6. Music should not be heard outside of your car. 7. You may not bother any other vehicle in the lot. This includes writing on the windows and other types of “pranks.” 8. Students who want to park closer to practice after school must be patient. ​ Left turns from the front lot to the back lot are not allowed until the lot clears. 9. The driver is responsible for actions of those in the vehicle. 10. Be aware that the Pitt County Schools Code of Conduct is in effect. ​ The person registering is responsible for all items in their vehicle, no matter how it got there.

11. You may register up to two vehicles on one tag. Please let administration know if you need to change during the year. 12. Please report any temporary changes to administration (rental car, etc), Violations of these expectations, along with other issues, can have these possible consequences. 1. Loss of parking privileges for a period of time. Repeated violations can cause a loss of the parking privilege for the semester or year. 2. A normal school referral (SMC, OSS, Project Equal, etc) Be reminded that all vehicles on campus are subject to being searched​ . This includes random K-9 searches. Greenville Automotive will be providing towing. Their number is posted in the parking lot. Administration has the right at any time to add or change rules or consequences for violations. Lost tags will cost 5 dollars to replace.
