Any guest that enters the building for the DF or VP department, must sign into this book. That’s it! The requirement for prior approval has been removed.
Room Reservation: Students who need a space to shoot or rehearse must reserve a room through Marisa Altamura. 1.
2. 3. 4.
Look at the room availability chart outside of the room you would like to shoot/rehearse. This will tell you when the room is available. Please only look at lecture rooms for rehearsal. We are trying to keep computer labs open for students to work on school related projects. Thanks! Email Marisa Altamura at
[email protected]. Only e-mail Marisa Monday through Friday. She is NOT available on the weekends. Marisa will reserve the room. That’s it! Remember to have your Guest Reservation List filled out at the time of your rehearsal/shoot.
Tips: Requests are not limited to classrooms. This policy covers the entire building, including, but not limited to: hallways, rd lobby, and cubicle space. Students are FORBIDDEN to shoot in the 3 Floor Office Area, over at MCNY, bathrooms and rd stairwells. Students may shoot in the 3 floor waiting area or in the hallway, but not in the office space. Students are permitted to rehearse in the lecture rooms, TV studio and Audio studio. Respect your neighbors!!! If you are shooting/rehearsing during school hours, you must respect the classes in attendance. No screaming, cursing, violence or any activity that would alarm a faculty member. When you wrap the shoot or rehearsal, the room must be cleaned and all furniture replaced. Failure to follow this policy will result in revoking all future shooting privileges. Students may only have a maximum of 10 guests at a time. If you require more guests, you must request special permission from your instructor. Thank you! Good Luck with your projects!
