VENUE BRIEF The Small Ballroom, Islington is located in the heart of Newcastle, 10 minutes from the Newcastle CBD. The venue hosts the best production for its size in the area with a Nexo ground stacked system and also offers free accommodation to touring artists. Newcastle’s population is currently at an approximated figure of 430,000, making it the 7th largest urban area in Australia. The city hosts more shows than any other regional city in Australia and shows at The Small Ballroom are consistently well attended. Positioned just off Beaumont Street, the venue is close to Hamilton train station and major bus routes.
