In this book you will share with students a little girl’s account of all the emotions that a child can feel in one day. She tells with great description how she feels and why. The rhyming words really show the emotions or feelings of the character. The illustrations also add a lot to the describing. It gives many examples of moods and synonyms for feelings.
*To have students be able to answer: What are moods? What are feelings? *Students can compare and contrast a time in their life to that of the character of the story *Discuss why it’s ok to have feelings *ABC Boxes *Writer’s Notebook or student journals
