Railway Board had conveneda meetingwith the representativesof NFIR on at the level of CRB, MS & FC. During discussionsin the meeting,the 23108120t3 RailwayBoardhad given a statuspaperto NFIR showingpositionof eachitem listed to Hon'ble MR. The positionon many issues in Federation'sletter dated2810612013 showedthat the issueshave beenreferredto MOF/DoP&T. Thereaftera period of over three months have passedbut no further progresshas been reported to the Federationon the issues. NFIR once again urgesthe Railway Board to kindly adviselatest statuson eachitem at an early date,treatingthe matteras urgentin view of NFIR's National Conventionscheduledto be held from 10mto 12mDecember,2013to takestockof the situationanddecidefunher courseof actionon variouspendingitems.
