Tatted/Knotted Peyote Friendship Bracelet ©2006 by Teri Dusenbury- All Rights Reserved This pattern has only been tested by me. Use at own risk. Coat’s & Clark’s Dual Duty Plus Buttons, Carpets and Craft Thread Art 220. I would NOW use C-Lon Micro Nylon Cord. Black-tab Needle Threader, Delica 11/0 Machine-cut Cylinders, Thread Heaven – Thread Conditioner for Dual Duty Plus only, Small Lobster Claw Clasp. 1.) Pull approximately 200” off spool. If you are not familiar with finger tatting then this is probably too much thread for you to manipulate at one time. Visually mark thread ends T1 and T2. T1 = thread one, T2 = thread two. 2.) Tat a R of 13 DK. R = Ring. DK = Double Knot. 3.) Thread one bead onto T1. Thread one bead onto T2. 4.) SR 5DK/5LHK. SR = Split Ring. LHK = Lark’s Head Knot. Helpful Hint: Always check knot count prior to closing SR. 5.) Repeat steps three through four for length of bracelet. (For 7” bracelet 27 5/5 SRs.) End with one bead on T1 and T2.

6.) Put clasp onto T1 so that clasp’s lever is facing up. Slide clasp into ring. Tat a R of 5DK, slide clasp into place, bring T1 through clasp’s hole, 5DK, close ring. Tie a square knot on wrong side of bracelet. 7.) Thread T1 back through (what is now) bead A. to front of work. *Thread 3 beads on T1, thread T1 through bead C. 8.) Thread T2 through bead B, bead 1, thread bead 4 onto T2, T2 through bead 3 and bead D. Pull tightly on both threads. * Repeat from * to * across split rings. Bring thread to back and tie a square knot.

9.) Thread both T1 and T2 through bead B. **Knot a chain of 5. Thread T1 through bead D. Thread three beads onto T2. ** Repeat from ** to ** across length of bracelet.

10.) Omit last three beads on T2, thread T2 through bead D. Bring threads to back of bracelet. Tie a square knot. Turn bracelet so that you are now working down the opposite side of bracelet. 11.) Thread both T1 and T2 through bead B. **Knot a chain of 5. Thread T1 through bead D. Thread three beads onto T2. ** Repeat from ** to ** across length of bracelet.

12.) Omit last three beads on T2, thread T2 through bead D. Bring threads to back of bracelet. Tie a square knot. Rethread threads carefully back through beads. Cut thread. TA DA!
