HOTAS WARTHOG How to install the new DIN connector Required tools: Phillips screwdriver, soldering gun

1) Unscrew these 4 screws:

2) Disconnect the white connector circled in red:

3) Unscrew these 2 screws:

4) Take off the Din connector

5) Detach all the wires soldered to the black connector, and then pull the ribbon cable from underneath the joystick base (you cannot do it the other way because the white plug will not fit through the joystick base).

6) Take off the elements as shown on the pictures.

7) Take the new ribbon cable that you received and, through the underside of the joystick base, push it gently so that the exposed wire ends will reach the top of the joystick base.

There is a hole on one side of the inside of the black part for the wires:

8) Solder the exposed wire ends to the black connector, in the order shown below:

9) Reassemble your product by following this procedure in reverse order.
