The Cowtown 2017 Online Registration Now Open The Cowtown has partnered with Race Roster

(Fort Worth, TX) --- The Cowtown opened online registration for its February 2017 events on Thursday, May 12, 2016 for all individual runners. Participants can register at www.cowtownmarathon.org . The Cowtown is the largest multi-event road race in North Texas, and includes an Ultra Marathon presented by Miller Lite, a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Adults 5K and the Cook Children’s 5K. New for the 2017 event, The Cowtown has partnered with Race Roster to provide runners with an easy online registration process. Runners are now able to register using hand held devices and/or their computer. In addition, they are able to share their participation easily on Facebook and Twitter. The 2017 Cowtown occurs the last weekend in February and begins with The Cowtown Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, February 24th. The Adults 5K, Cook Children’s 5K, and 10K take place on Saturday, February 25th with the Ultra Marathon presented by Miller Lite, Marathon and Half Marathon rounding out the weekend on Sunday, February 26th.

Runners participation in The Cowtown benefits the C.A.L.F. Program (Children’s Activities for Life and Fitness.) In preparation for the 2016 race, Cowtown provided over 5,300 pairs of running shoes and 5,300 financial grants so that children in need could train for race day and begin a lifetime of fitness.
