The Railway Board vide letter dated 246 January 2017 has clarified to the Zonal add on pay elementon their 7fr CPC Pay Railways that the Running Staff are entitled for 55%o for Pensionarybenefits. However, clarification with regard to continuanceof 30o/oadd on pay elementfor retiral benefits to the retiring Loco Inspectorshas not been incorporatedin Board's letter dated 24fr January2017, referred to above.Railway Board's attentionis also invited to its letters No. E(P&A)II/83/RS-10 (iv) dated 25lllll992 and No.E(P&A)II-2005/RS-34dated (RBE No.20212008)on the subject. 2611212008 NFIR, therefore,requeststhe Railway Board to issueclarification for reckoning30%oadd on pay element to the last pay drawn by retiring Loco Inspectorsfor payment of pensionary is also benefits.Copy of Railway Board's letter No. E(P&A)II-2005/RS-34dated2611212008 enclosed.
