Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers All Coach 3 days September 15 - 17, 2017 The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Festival is a garden lover’s delight and we are proud to be bringing this 3 day tour back again. The festival is a celebration of flowers as well as food, wine and all things spring. Stop and smell a rose or two at the National Rose Garden, visit stunning award winning exhibition gardens, view splendid displays in the public parks and be entertained by the colourful and creative Grand Central Floral Parade. Another highlight will be a visit to Spring Bluff Railway Station on our journey home.

Day 1 Fri Sep 15 D Arriving at the top of the Range the beautiful floral displays unfold. Take in the spectacular views from Picnic Point, before visiting the Ergon Energy Flower, Food and Wine Festival. Purchase your own lunch while strolling through the floral displays and stalls offering handcrafted creations, regional produce and boutique wines along with some highly acclaimed performances. This afternoon, visit some of the prize winning gardens prior to settling in at the Toowoomba City Golf Club Motel (Ph 07 4636 9999) for the next 2 nights.

Day 2 Sat Sep 16 BLD Start the day with a visit to The Japanese Gardens, Australia’s largest and most traditionally designed Japanese stroll gardens. Next we visit Laurel Bank Park, once a private garden owned by Mr Samuel George Stephens who gifted it to the people of Toowoomba for public use in 1939. Enjoy a catered lunch before the Grand Floral Parade. In its 68th year, the parade promises to deliver a spectacular line up of fresh floral floats, street performers, carnival characters, stilt walkers, walking groups and live bands as it winds its way through the city streets to Queens Park. Day 3 Sun Sep 17 BL After breakfast, travel to the iconic Spring Bluff Railway Station where there will be time to purchase your own morning tea. Continue on to Gatton for lunch and a visit to Pohlman’s Retail Nursery where you may choose to purchase a plant or two to take home.
