An Earth friendly and ecologically centred celebration with delicious organic, seasonal and local food and drink
The Fold at Bransford is a unique and inspirational space designed to encourage sustainable living and healthy lifestyles. We offer you an opportunity to have a special wedding celebration that is different. Developed around an original working farm and using the ecologically restored traditional farm buildings it offers you an experience that will be truly different, memorable and enjoyable but is centred upon a site which has low environmental impact and uses organic and local produce. Our site is powered by low carbon solar electric and water systems and our heating is from our bio mass boiler powered by sustainable willow from a plantation on the farm. We strive to be a low carbon community and leave a small impact on the earth. Our food is freshly prepared on site by our inspirational chefs who use organic, locally sourced and seasonal produce to create stunning original menus which are fresh and vibrant and bursting with flavour and energy. We regularly prepare vegetarian and vegan wedding feasts as well as traditional fayre. We can also cater for gluten free and special diets where required. Our wines, beers and soft drinks are mostly organic, and sourced from the local community of producers. (Please see below a sample menu to give you an idea of the type of food we offer. However we can prepare a wedding menu to your own choice as you require) The Fold is a not for profit Community Interest Company (CIC) set up with the objective to improve the health of individuals, the community and our planet and support the local economy. Any surplus from your celebration will help support our activities which in particular help those otherwise excluded with significant life challenges on our care farm.
We offer two unique indoor venues which can be used separately or in combination to provide the fabulous combination of an intimate gourmet wedding breakfast in the Cart House and a larger evening celebration with buffet in The Fold Café. We also offer the use of a large covered outdoor space to accommodate those of you who might fancy some fun and games, al fresco dining or a ceilidh!
The Cart House The 18th Century Cart House can seat up to 70 (max) people for intimate wedding breakfasts.
The Fold Café We have the beautifully converted 17th century granary barn that houses The Fold Café. It seats 60 comfortably and can host up to 120 guests for an evening celebration/disco/dance.
There are various options in our grounds for siting a marquee for larger numbers, particularly in the North courtyard located at the rear of The Café which acts as a perfect sheltered extension for your evening café reception. There are many ways to personalise your special day at the Fold and bring beauty and joy to even the smallest event. The day is yours and we will do our best to create a special sustainable day from the theme and décor to the food and drinks.
The covered barn
Our outdoor covered barn is perfect for larger celebrations and outdoor themed weddings. It is used to host our monthly markets and there is ample space for al fresco dining, fun and games or even a barn dance! It is covered but has open sides which can be rolled down for protection during strong winds, and the terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and over into Worcester.

The Fold Café is a working Café and is available for your exclusive use from 6.00pm onwards on any given day. If you require it earlier we may be able to arrange this with a surcharge When hiring The Cart House or Café we give access for decoration on the day before when available.
We can offer a range of dishes and our chef will work with you, selecting from seasonal and local produce, to create a suitable menu for your occasion. To give some guidelines below are some examples of food and drink prices. 3 course wedding breakfast
