2016 Election The following is the list of candidates for the November 8, 2016 municipal election for the City of Ojai. The nomination period officially closed on Wednesday after the nomination period for the Council Member seat was extended five days. Building & Safety Services Interviews Interviews are being held with firms that responded to the City’s Request for Proposals for Building Inspection, Plan Checking and Code Enforcement Services. The committee will interview one additional firm on Monday, and will consider providing a recommendation to the City Council for selection at the regular city council meeting on Tuesday, August 23.
