Our Mission The TISA Mission is to prepare students to become life-long learners and positive contributors to their local and global communities. TISA will prepare its students for the next stage of their education through a high quality, well-balanced educational programme. TISA will deliver its programme according to the universally recognised educational principles, practices and beliefs of the International Baccalaureate.

Our School TISA is a non-sectarian, co-educational college-preparatory day school. It serves both the expatriate community and those seeking an international education. The language of instruction is English.

All of TISA’s highly committed faculty members are universitycertified, and most hold advanced degrees. Extensive professional staff development opportunities are available during the school year and funding is provided for continuing education overseas during the summer recess.
CEESA Students take part in a variety of Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) and other International events each school year. These include various sports including football, basketball, swimming, and volleyball, as well as extra-curricular activity events such as Speech & Debate and Model United Nations. Each year, TISA hosts international events.

Admission Admission is determined by previous school reports, an admissions screening procedure, and the school’s ability to provide a suitable program within class size limitations. Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) / BP employees have priority for admissions.

Graduation Requirements
Lower Secondary Students (M1-M3) take a standard curriculum but can choose between Russian, Azerbaijani, Spanish and French as a Second Language. Upper Secondary Students (M4-M5) add the ability to choose between Drama, Art, and Music. The IB Course Offering Chart is accurate for the Class of 2018. Please note that the offerings may change slightly from year to year.

To earn a TISA High School Diploma students are required to earn the following 24 credits and the listed project-based requirements over four years (M4-DP2). Students not taking the full IB DP may take IB Classes for Certificate and/or TISA courses to meet requirements.
