In consideration for the privilege of coaching, I agree to abide by all rules and regulations of the Wylie Soccer Association and its League Officials. I further understand and agree that the privilege to coach may be revoked at any time for my failure to abide by WYSA Rules and philosophy and I agree to accept such decisions. I further acknowledge that I will read and agree to abide by the WYSA Soccer Coaches Guide, Board Policy on Coach’s, Spectator’s and Player’s Conduct and any policies or procedures as published by the board. I agree to play all team members the required amount of playing time as defined in the WYSA Rules. I will encourage fair play and sportsmanship among my players, parents, and spectators. In fulfilling my obligation as a coach, I agree to obtain the appropriate license level within the allowed time. I understand that all head coaches are required to obtain an WYSA/NTSSA sanctioned coaches license. All coaches of U8 and below must obtain a “F” license prior to the start of the season. New coaches in the older divisions (U9 and above) are allowed to the start of the second playing season to secure the “E” license. I understand that I am responsible for paying the game officials prior to the game starting when I am scheduled as the “Home Team”. Payments to coach are to be used by paying the referees in cash. Lost or stolen funds will NOT be replaced by WYSA. The funds are to be used only for the payment of referee services to WYSA approved Referees assigned to officiate the game. Referees are assigned to a game by Referee Assignors (contracted by WYSA) or by a WYSA official. I understand that an application to coach soccer in the Wylie Soccer Association must be made before each season and that the application must be approved by the Executive Board. I agree to accept its decision.
