The meeting was called to order by Vice Chair Frank Taylor at 3:05 p.m. and he gave the Campus Welcome.

Approval of October 21, 2015 Meeting Minutes

Discussion: Mr. Frank Taylor addressed the voting committee members and opened the floor for a call to make a motion to approve the October 21, 2015 minutes. Discussion/Actions: approved the minutes.

The motion was made by Dr. Kelly Crook and seconded. Members unanimously (verbally)

Update on ACC Bond Projects

Discussion:

Mr. William Mullane, Vice President, Facilities and Construction, reviewed with Committee the G.O. Bond Program Status. Mr. Mullane in the presentation covered the following:  Proposition 1 and Proposition 2  Renovations at ACC Highland  New Campus in Leander (San Gabriel Campus)  Land Banking in the Southeast Austin area  Renovations of RGC Main Building at the Rio Grande Campus  Renovations at Campuses after relocations to ACC Highland  Districtwide Projects  Expansion of Round Rock Campus  Expansion of Elgin Campus  Expansion of Hays Campus  What is included for the Riverside Campus  What is in progress so far at the Riverside Campus  General issues

Follow-up Items:

The Riverside Campus is a seven day-a-week campus which makes it extremely difficult to schedule needed repairs because of its current campus hours of operation. The Riverside Campus space will continue to be reviewed and accessed for possible future facility projects.

The Futures representatives’ presentation covered: The Community College Landscape A Critical Need for Greater Student Success Redesigned Needed: Present-Cafeteria Style and Future-Guided Pathways Futures institute and Recommendations: Fall 2015 and Spring/Summer 2016 ACC Areas of Study (AoS) Areas of Study Program Mapping Sessions: Timeline for Program Mapping and Session Participants Goals of Program Mapping Improved Student On-boarding: New “First Step” module, Updated application, and Implementation of AoS Information Sessions Structured On-boarding: New Credential-Seeking Students: New to college or new to ACC with less than 12SCH of college credit
