Breve resumen de las características generales del curso: La difusión de las bibliotecas, sus servicios y colecciones son fundamentales para mantenerlas vivas y activas. Los avances tecnológicos son de gran ayuda en el campo de la informaciòn, sin embargo en el imaginario colectivo pueden reemplazar a los centros de información y a sus bibliotecarios. Sin embargo, paradojicamente, son muy ùtiles a la hora de difundir el trabajo de los profesionales, sus logros, posibilidades y las instituciones para las que trabajan. El taller apunta a ofrecer herramientas para dar difusiòn y alcance mediàtico a las bibliotecas y su rol social.
