MDS Meeting Notes Annual Meeting 1/30/16 Minutes by Mark Wheeler Curt Oien called the meeting to order at 1:45 PM. John Arthur gave the financial report. Moved by Dave Doyle. Seconded by Liv Mostad-Jensen. The motion carried unanimously. Changes to three items in MDS bylaws were proposed. Section 3.01 MDS Administration Board of Directors changed to include "preferably ten" active members at large from "four" active members at large. Moved by Angela Isackson. Seconded by Jeff Fischer. The proposed change was approved unanimously. Section 6.01 Annual Meeting Change the scheduling of the annual meeting from January to March or April. Moved by Angela Isackson. Seconded by Jeff Fischer. The proposed change was not approved. Section 7.03 Fiscal Year Change the fiscal year to end December 31st instead of January 31st, if the IRS allows it. Moved by John Arthur. Seconded by Vanessa Strong. The proposed change was approved unanimously. Board of Directors appointments Extend current board members terms by one year
