Theme: Enchanting World (1) Surprise Design (2) Designer Choice - Body Decoration on Mannequin (3) Designer Choice - Hand Tied Bouquet 4.Judges: We will invite international flower design master to be the judges. The jury will be composed of four foreign judges from different countries and one fromTaiwan. ◆ Awards: 1. Golden Award: Trophy, Certificate and NT$100,000. 2. Silver Award: Trophy, Certificate and NT$50,000. 3. Bronze Award: Trophy, Certificate and NT$30,000. 4. Special Award: The contestant who maintains the display area with good quality will receive award of NT$10,000. along with a trophy. ※Note:Please be remind that 20% of withholding tax will be deducted from the prize to comply with tax convention and tax law of Taiwan.
◆Subvention for each contestant provided by the organizers ‧1. The registration fee of NT$2500.-is charged, however, will be refundedNT$2500.upon arrival Day.
‧2. Contestants are kindly requested to cover airfares to and from Taipei by themselves. The organizer provides NT$12,000. per contestant as a part of accommodationfee.
※ Contestants are required to provide receipt of hotel with their passport during the competition for accommodation subsidy. 1

◆ General Rules: In all categories, no natural, fresh, dried or preserved materials will not be allowed to prepared, inserted into, or attached to floral foam, water, or the chosen holding medium prior to the start of each contest. This includes: branches,mosses, or any other horticultural material. No assembly of cascades, clusters, or bundles of mixed materials will be permitted prior to the start of the competition. Prior to the start of each contest, containers and props may be assembled, floral foam inserted, water added, soil, sand or rocks placed within the design, and / or props and accessories placed within the presentation. Members of the jury staff will inspectall preparation areas and booths prior to the official start of each category to ensure compliance.

◆ Competition Categories: Event 1 :Surprise Design - ( Closed Contest ) Date: Fri., October 31, 2014 Duration: 60 minutes Preparatory Work：14:30～14:45（15 minutes） Competition：14:45～15:45（60 minutes） ＜ Instructions ＞ (1) All necessary materials and plants will be provided by the competition committee. (2) Contestants are free to select and decide to use any of the materialsprovided by the competition committee. (3) Contestants may use any item of floral materials supplied and can use mechanical toolsprovided by their own personal supply, but such mechanical goods may not be used in a decorative way. Contestants must use only the flowers, foliage or sundries provided by the host, no other horticultural or non-horticultural material can be added. (4) Electric tools can only be used during preparatory works. (5) This event is a closed contest and will not be open to visitors; the final piece will be exhibited over the whole duration of Taipei International Flower Design Competition from 1st. November to 4th November, 2014.
Catergories 2 : Designer Choice - Body Decoration On Mannequin (Closed Contest )
Theme: Endless Romance Date: Fri., October 31, 2014 Duration: 60 minutes Preparatory Work：15:45～16:00（15 minutes） Competition：16:00～17:00（60 minutes）

＜ Instructions ＞ (1) There are no size restrictions. (2) Mannequin will be provided by the competition committee. (3) Contestants shall prepare all the necessary materials and tools by themselves. (4) No assembly of cascades, clusters, or bundles of mixed materials will be permitted prior to the start of the competition. (5) This event is a closed contest and will not be open to visitors; the final piece will be exhibited over the whole duration of International Flower Design Competition from 1st ~4th November, 2014.
Event 3 : Designer Choice - Hand Tied Bouquet
Theme：Brilliant Harmony Date：Sat., November 1, 2014 Duration: 40 minutes Competition：(Group 1)14:55～15:35（40 minutes） (Group 2)15:50～16:30（40 minutes） Contestants will be divided into 2 groups according to their entry number for this venue. ＜ Instructions ＞ (1)
The structure of the hand tied bouquet can be made of horticultural or nonhorticultural materials prior to the competition. (2) There are no size restrictions. (3) Contestants shall prepare all the necessary flower materials, tools and vase by themselves. (4) No electricity or batteries are allowed in the work.
