AMS SCHOLASTIC ALL-AMERICAN APPLICATION INFORMATION 2015 – 2015 ACADEMIC YEAR Each year, Allegheny Mountain Swimming recognizes those swimmers who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The AMS Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher and who meet the eligibility requirements during the preceding academic year. To apply, a swimmer must have completed 10th grade or higher and be an athlete member of USA Swimming and Allegheny Mountain Swimming during the eligibility period (September 1, 2014 - April 15, 2015). Deadline for submission is August 31, 2016.

ELIGIBILITY To be eligible for the AMS Scholastic All-American Team, swimmers must: • be a current USA Swimming/Allegheny Mountain Swimming Athlete Member • have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade during the 2015-16 academic year • have a minimum 3.75 un-weighted Grade Point average for the 2015-16 academic year • submit and official transcript with the seal of the high school embossed or imprinted on the report • have competed in at least three (3) AMS Meets during the 2015 – 2016 short course season • have achieved at least one qualifying time for the 2016 Eastern Zone Spring South Sectional meet.

HOW TO APPLY On or before the August 31, 2016 deadline, swimmers must  Submit an on-line AMS Scholastic All-American Application. The link is available under the Athlete Tab and in the Forms Library on the AMS Web Site.  Mail a copy of Official Transcript by August 31, 2016 to: AMS Scholastic All-American 17 Fieldstone Dr. Pittsburgh, PA 15220

RECOGNITION Those swimmers selected for the 2015 – 2016 AMS Scholastic All-American Team will be recognized at the AMS Awards Banquet. The Team List will be posted on the AMS Web Site in the fall of 2016.
