Red Nose Day The school was a sea of red today as both pupils and staff celebrated Red Nose Day 2017. Although the pennies are still be counted, so far we have raised nearly £900 for this great cause, so 'Thank You' for your contributions. With the current news about the imminent famine across Yemen, South Sudan, Somalia and Nigeria, it is even more important that we have supported this event in school today.

M at h s Ch allen ge Thank you to all the children who are taking part in the daily Maths challenges and sending in their solutions to either Miss Hyland ([email protected]) or Dr Townsend ([email protected]). For the remainder of March, the school will be publishing a daily Maths Challenge for KS1 (Year 1) and KS2 (Years 3 to 6) pupils. Please do have a look together. Begin n in g an d En d of Day As we prepare for the start of the summer term, we will be altering slightly the end of school time for Reception. Our official end of day is 3.15pm. To facilitate a smooth exit and avoid congestion we allow Year 1 parents to collect at 3.10pm. From 18th April, Reception children will also be dismissed at 3.10pm. From September children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will finish school at 3.10pm, with Key Stage 2 finishing at 3.15pm. Please can we remind parents to park away from the school and walk the remaining part of the journey. This is not only good for your children's health and well-being, but also helps reduce congestion and improve safety outside our school. PLEASE PARK CONSIDERATELY
