FEC. 7 states – Massachusetts, California, Hawaii, Maryland, New Mexico, Rhode Island and Vermont, and 300 US municipalities (70 in MA) have passed resolutions supporting an amendment. 11 state attorneys general, including Martha Coakley of Massachusetts, have written to Congress urging action. Over a dozen versions of democracy amendments have been introduced by U.S. Representatives and Senators. 2 million+ people have signed petitions supporting an amendment. 115+ citizens’ organizations support an amendment.
