Topic: School Exchange.

Skills: Spoken interaction and production.

Aims: Use the ePEL in the EFL class as a learning motivating tool.

Outcome: Embedded ppt / Prezzi or similar.

Contextualización: La clase está preparando un proyecto de intercambio con otra escuela y dentro de las diferentes tareas para esta preparación se encuentra la confección del programa de actividades de la semana del intercambio y la descripción de la escuela con la que se va a intercambiar. El producto final de estas tareas se incluirá tanto en el blog creado para trabajar el proyecto como en la sección del dossier del ePEL.

Self- evaluation: Now you can fill in the following learning aims of the tasks at the ePEL website (level: B1; skills: “Spoken Interaction/Production” Conversar/hablar) Aunque a veces me resulte difícil expresar lo que quiero decir y necesite de cierta cooperación por parte de mis interlocutores…  soy capaz de desenvolverme en conversaciones generales sobre temas de mi especialidad;  soy capaz de expresar y pedir puntos de vista y opiniones personales en una discusión informal con amigos;  soy capaz de manifestar con educación mi acuerdo o desacuerdo con lo que se ha dicho;  soy capaz de expresar sentimientos tales como sorpresa, felicidad, tristeza, interés o indiferencia y responder a los mismos. Aunque resulten evidentes mi acento extranjero, las pausas para planear el discurso o corregir errores…  soy capaz de explicar y justificar mis planes, intenciones y acciones.

Evaluation of the task (output): After the school exchange experience, CHECK that you CAN deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. You CAN enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life (e.g. family, hobbies, work, travel and current events). And that you CAN connect phrases in a simple way in order to describe experiences and events, your dreams, hopes and ambitions. Sé desenvolverme en casi todas las situaciones que se me presentan cuando viajo donde se habla esa lengua. Puedo participar espontáneamente en una conversación que trate temas cotidianos de interés personal o que sean pertinentes para la vida diaria (por ejemplo, familia, aficiones, trabajo, viajes y acontecimientos actuales). Sé enlazar frases de forma sencilla con el fin de describir experiencias y hechos, mis sueños, esperanzas y ambiciones.
