1. Define the term “Total Quality Management”. 2. What does “equal employment opportunity” mean ? 3. Differentiate between “assets” and “liabilities” quoting suitable examples. 4. What is “marketing” ? 5. State six differences between written and oral communication. SECTION – B Answer any nine questions :

6. Explain the responsibilities of a person working as a project administrator in an early childhood program. 7. Explain the organisational structure of a typical pre-school with appropriate illustration. 8. Write a brief note on “recruitment” and “retention”. 9. Highlight the strategies that could be adopted to maximise HR productivity in an early childhood activity centre. 10. Differentiate between a fixed, flexible and cash budget.

Highlight the differences between a “report” , “memo” and “minutes of meeting” in an organisation. 16. State the guidelines to be followed while making an oral presentation. 17. Why is information communication technology considered a vital marketing tool today ? SECTION – C Answer any two questions :
