AHEAD Multiprimer Advanced water based acrylic binder For sealing of porous concrete and for sealing of ZEBRA Anode Description AHEAD Multiprimer is a single component, rapid curing primer, based on a mild water-soluble copolymer dispersion with high penetration into concrete and other mineral substrates. AHEAD Multiprimer is used as a primer for AHEAD Levelling Layer and AHEAD Ax/ECH. AHEAD Multiprimer ensures good adhesion between the individual layers and does not implicate the cathodic protection processes. The AHEAD Multiprimer is resistant to the high alkalinity present on ZEBRA anode, and between epoxy-cement layers. Areas of application AHEAD Multiprimer is mainly for use on soffits and walls, concrete subbases without rolling cargoes. Preparations Concrete The concrete subbase to be treated with AHEAD Multiprimer shall be dry, clean, firm, and free for impurities, grease, oil and such. Leave to dry overnight before proceeding. ZEBRA Anode The ZEBRA Anode shall be at least 2-7 days old (dependent of on-site temperature and environment). Dry, clean. Adhesion tested, and electrically quality-controlled. AHEAD Multiprimer shall be applied over the entire surface area, (anode-stripes/clean concrete stripes), in order to ensure good adhesion towards EC and other products. Leave to dry overnight before proceeding. AHEAD EC layers The first layer of AHEAD EC material shall be at least 24 hours old and clean before applying AHEAD Multiprimer on to it. Leave to dry overnight before proceeding. Mixing Shake well before use.

Application AHEAD Multiprimer shall be applied with roller, brush or airless spray. Careless application of AHEAD Multiprimer on ZEBRA, with areas/spots on ZEBRA without thoroughly applied Multiprimer will give delaminations / hollow areas between ZEBRA and coming EC layers! Consumption 0.1 to 0.2 kg/m2 (dependent of surface porosity) > 3o C < 35o C Do not apply when raining Temp. by execution
