Kinship
The adult female is maternally related to the oldest and youngest child but the specific relationship between the three is undetermined. Their
relationship is more likely than not a close one as opposed to an extended one (i.e. more likely mother & child than siblings, cousins etc.)
The middle aged child cannot be biologically linked to any of the other three victims, but that doesn’t exclude the possibility that she may be a paternalhalf-sister to the other two children, or a paternalcousin.
Isotope Results
All 4 victims were likely born in the USA Adult female was likely born before the 1960s, perhaps in the early to mid-1950s 3 children were born during the 1970s and 1980s
Isotope Results
The 3 related females show consistent isotope values for the region where their bodies were found, suggesting they could be from New Hampshire or from a nearby state. The values suggest they were from an area closer to the Atlantic coast versus further inland. Results indicate that the 3 related females grew up together.
Isotope Testing Map (Adult & 2 Related Children)
Isotope Results
The non-related middle child shows isotope values suggesting she was born and spent her childhood further inland and north. This region includes northern New Hampshire and as far west as Minnesota.
Results indicate that this child was not born and did not spend her childhood in the same location as the other three victims.
Isotope Testing Map (Middle Child Unknown Relationship)
Isotope Results
All 4 victims show some consistent New Hampshire region isotope values in the last weeks / months before death. Results indicate that all four victims spent the last few weeks to few months together in the New Hampshire region before their deaths.
Isotope Analysis
Based on the totality of the isotope results from 2009 and 2015 it is more likely than not that all four victims are from the Northeast region
Time of Death Based on the assessment of the level of decomposition of the remains in conjuncture with the isotope analysis it is believed that all 4 victims were killed at the same time sometime during the early 1980s (19801984).
