Your 2017 contestants are: Mason Sipple, Roman Huante, Mike Saffell, Jay Simpson, Connor Hanks, Shaun Colamonico and Noah Gane. Come out to see these boys fight to be Mr. Edison! Admission is only $1.00 for students and $3.00 for adults. Chargers Varsity Ice Hockey took home the Div. 3 Championship last Saturday defeating Bishop Amat 6-4 at Anaheim Ice. The team had goals scored by Arsenault, Lord, McGuire, Osterkamp and Gealy, with assists coming from Jackson, Santoro, Lord and Gealy.

Savannah Gutierrez had another stellar performance defending the EHS goal. Congrats to the Ice Hockey team for their first Championship season! Way to go Chargers! Students interested in applying for the Golden Key nomination in the area of Community Service, should stop by the Activities Office for an application form. Deadline for applying is Friday, March 31st.

Saturday, March 25th and Sunday, March 26th Catalyst Prep will be holding a SAT/ACT boot camp on campus in room 102 from 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to get help in preparing for the Spring college testings.

If you have old books you’re done reading and would like to share with others, please donate them for a student-led school-wide project for curiosity in room 220 this week.

The Edison Concert Band participates in their first festival this Friday at Beckman High School, and the Drumline competes at their first competition on Saturday at Aliso Niguel High School. Wish all of our musicians “good luck” when you see them.

Grad Night 2017 is June 15th from 11:pm to 5:00 am at Dave and Busters in Irvine. Seniors, we have so many fun things planned for you at Grad Night this year. Unlimited games, unlimited food, including breakfast starting at 3a.m, an unlimited chocolate fountain dessert bar and unlimited drinks. Run! AP tests are on sale now at the finance window. The cost is $93.00 per test. The deadline to purchase is tomorrow, March 17th. Attention Seniors! The diploma name verification list is now posted outside the Registrar’s office. Please stop by to verify correct spelling of your name for your diploma. If you have a name change, you must complete a “Name Change Form”. Please see the registrar to request the form. The last day to turn in a “Name Change Form” and to verify diploma information is tomorrow, March 17th.
