NORTHLAND NOTES POWERED FLIGHTS Cadets: please make every effort to try and participate in at least one Orientation Flight during the coming weeks. We expect to have a CAP aircraft here from Saturday August 28th through Sunday September 4th. Remember, the weather usually turns unfavorable in November and December, severely limiting the opportunities for Orientation Flights during those months. Please contact Lt. Jeff Madsen to arrange the Orientation Flights. All cadets are eligible for these flights (except those who have been to Flight Academy). Cadets need to bring their CAP ID, lunch, water and a camera. Full stomachs are much less likely to be upset—so have your cadets EAT BEFORE they come. NO POP before or during flying.
DINING OUT - OCTOBER 9 Each year, our squadron gathers with our friends, families and members of the community for our Dining Out and Awards program. This year the event will be held at the Evangelical Covenant Church (across from the Bemidji Movie theater) October 9. This event is also our largest fund raiser of the year. Ticket prices are $22 per person and table sponsorships will be $150 per table. Please make plans to attend this event and invite others! Our goal is 250 in attendance and 50 Table Sponsors!
