GUIDELINES FOR COUNSELING-CUM-ADMISSION: FOR B. DES (UCEED & CITDEE) – 2017 REPORTING TIME: 08:30 AM VENUE: CIT, KOKRAJHAR A. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Candidates must be present on the day of counseling-cum-admission as per notification uploaded in CIT Kokrajhar website:- www.cit.ac.in. No individual call letter shall be issued to any candidates. Admission Committee shall not be responsible for any network problem. 2. All the selected and wait-listed candidates must fulfill the Eligibility criteria of Percentage of Marks in 10 +2 (Sc/Arts/Commerce) and Age (Para-C) for participating in the counseling-cum-admission. 3. All candidates must reach the venue of counseling-cum-admission at least one hour before the scheduled time. The allotment will be according to the serial number and rank of the reporting candidates. Seats shall never be reserved for candidates reaching late. 4. Candidates must possess the documents/certificates listed below (Para-D) in original along-with the photocopies as instructed. 5. Candidates called for counseling-cum-admission should download a copy of the Counseling Form and fill it properly and submit to the Counseling Board during the day of counseling-cum-admission. Candidates seeking Hostel Admission may also download the Hostel Application Form and submit the same filling the necessary information properly on the same day. 6. The certificates/documents (both original and photocopy) should be arranged in an orderly manner as per the serial numbers in the list. 7. Waiting List Candidates are requested to check the status of vacant seats on the day or one day after the preceding counseling-cum-admission and then only participate in the next counseling-cum-admission as per schedule date. No individual call letter shall be issued to any candidates. Admission Committee shall not be responsible for any network problem. 8. No TA/DA is granted to any candidate. Candidates should arrange their own accommodation during the day of counseling-cum-admission 9. All the major payments (Admission Fee and Hostel fee) should be accomplished through e-Payment process “SBI Collect”(Procedures given in Para-F). 10. The e-payment facility is permissible through “DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD” or “Net Banking”. 11. There will be a facility of e-payment hub with 08 (Eight) nodes of system exclusively arranged for Fee Payment at CIT, Kokrajhar in the vicinity of the Venue of Counseling-cum-admission. However, the e-Payment may be made in advance through the proper process in order to hasten the process or to relax the crowd. 12. After the e-payment, candidates should get two copies of the receipt of their payment.(one for submission to the Counseling-cum-admission Board, the other for personal copy for future refrences) 13. Candidates may also pay the Course Admission Fee & Hostel Admission Fee of requisite amount by depositing in any branch of Bank of Baroda and Hostel Mess fees of requisite amount in any SBI Branch through e-payment only. 14. No cash payment shall be accepted for Admission/Hostel Fees except some additional fees like festival fee, Alumni fees etc. 15. Hostel Admission will be on the same day of counseling-cum-admission. PROCEDURES OF e-PAYMENT (i) Open www.onlinesbi.com in your browser. (ii) Then click on “SBI Collect” button. (iii) Then accept the terms and conditions of payment by clicking the box. (iv) Then dropped down options for “State of Corporate/Institution” and “Type of Corporate/Institution” will appear. (v) Choose “Assam” for “State of Corporate/Institution” and choose “Educational Institutions” for “Type of Corporate/Institution” (vi) Then dropped down options for various Educational Institutions Name will appear. (vii) Then choose “Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar” (viii) Then a dropped down option for various categories of fees will appear. Choose the correct option(s) as given in para-E. (ix) Enter your Details such as Name, Entrance Exam Roll No etc in the space appeared. (x) Then click “Pay” option. This will link you to payment options. (xi) After the e-payment, candidates should get three copies of the receipt of their payment.(one for submission to the Admission Cell, another for Account section and one copy to be retained by the students for future references)
