Last weekend saw the Under16 footballers back on the League rails again when they convincingly defeated St Margarets 59 to 1-14 in their second league match of the season last weekend. This team won under 14 and U15 honours without loosing a match over the past two years but this record was lost in their first

SENIOR LADIES FOOTBALL DIVISION 1 SECOND PLACE PLAY OFF 3/2/07 ROUND TOWERS 11-15 Na Fianna 1-4 Round Towers Senior Ladies took on the challenge of Na Fianna in the Division 1 second place play-off on Saturday last. A match that was originally supposed to have taken place last October was postponed until the New Year. The game was the first for the Towers team in three months. From the offset, it was clear that the Towers ladies meant business opening up the scoring with a point from Emma Redmond and Hannah Tyrell. The scoring continued with the Towers ladies clocking up 3-10 alone in the first half, with goals from full forward Emma Redmond and Natalie Behan. Na Fianna only managed one score in the first half. Other attacks from the Na Fianna side resulted in great strong defending from Aisleen Milton and Natasha Daly. The second Half continued just as the first with a massacre of scores from Annette Harrington and Catherine Roche. The loss of Maria Kavanagh, due to injury, left Towers with fourteen players but the strong and consistent defending continued with performances from Eimear McGrath and Amanda Murray. At midfield, Suzanne Murray dominated and worked well with the half forwards. The support play shown by
