CCA Envision Program 2014-2015 Dear Envision Parents: Welcome to a new school year at Canyon Crest Academy! We have a very exciting year planned for Envision, and we need your help to make it happen. The majority of costs associated with having the Envision program at CCA are covered by family donations to the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation (CCAF). These costs include: guest artists, a percentage of staff salaries, supplies and equipment. The “per student” expense of day classes (per term) and the annual cost of *Conservatory are specified in the red box located here. → Identify your child’s discipline. We are suggesting a donation in the amount equal to your child’s participation (day class + Conservatory) in their discipline. **This year we are excited to offer a donation incentive at two levels. For your donation of $1,000+, you will receive two Adult Envision Season Passes. For your donation of $500-$999, you will receive one Adult Envision Season Pass. Each season pass provides designated user free admission to any and all Envision performances as well as early seating for all Envision performances in the Black Box Theater. Please complete the attached Contribution Form and return with your payment by mail, online or in person at our Envision table at Raven Readiness. Vocal Students "When I arrived here, I joined rock bandbecause I wanted to play music and meet new people; I didn't think I had a future in singing. But Ms.Whattoff heard me sing in Rock Band and urged me to join Choir, so I did. My favorite experience ever in my high school career so far was The Wall, and I almost didn't audition for it- but I got a part, and that was how my journey with Choir and Conservatory began. In Choir and Conservatory I've found so many new friends that I know will be with me for high school and beyond, and I'm so grateful. Choir really helps me to get through the day. Conservatory and Choir are amazing programs." "When I first came to CCA as a little freshman, I was very socially awkward and shy and didn't have very many friends. But after I decided to join Choir, a whole new realm of opportunities opened up to me- I went to China with the Choir and Instrumental students and that's where I found my family!
