The CCLTS Local Organising Committee invites proposals for paper and workshop presentations related to the conference theme:
Reviews and Challenges of Teaching Chinese in Australia in the Asian Century Accepted papers and workshops will form the major part of the conference program and will be scheduled in approximately 50 minute timeslots.
Submission should be in English (and Chinese if possible)
The submission deadline is Friday 7 June 2013. You are strongly encouraged to submit before the required submission deadline. Quality submissions will be accepted once reviewed.
Possible Submission themes include: (however they are not restricted to the themes below)
1. Intercultural Chinese language learning 2. Classroom interactions 3. Strategies for classroom management 4. Strategies to motivate the community school student in learning Chinese 5. The diversity of learners and students engagement 6. ICT (iPad, iMovie, interactive whiteboard, on line learning sites, etc.) in language teaching and learning 7. Authentic and contemporary resources 8. Evaluation/testing/Assessment 9. Catering for diversity in the Chinese language classroom 10.
