Her is a little list: *light jacket or sweater * #2 Pencils *a snack and drink *a FICTION book to read between subtests Another suggestion...PRACTICE RUN! leadership Three CHEAHA high school students attended TeenPact state classes in Montgomery, AL Feb 24-27. According to teenpact.com, TeenPact leadership schools are “comprehensive leadership experience that brings young people closer to Jesus Christ, makes them better leaders, and positions them to impact the world around them. Students leave TeenPact events inspired to be leaders and challenged to change America for Christ.” Jonathan Acker, Kelsey Godwin, and Bethany Welch participated in the classes held at the state capitol. The students prepared for the classes throughout the school year studying local and state government, memorizing scripture, and writing their own bill to present at the state classes. During the day, students participated in a mock legislature setting, selecting bills to be presented out of committee, presenting and debating those bills to the student body, voting on bills, and electing state officers. They also had the opportunity to prayer walk the capitol buildings and meet various state officials, such as Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore. In the evenings, they participated in student led worship services while taking in nature at Camp Chandler located on Lake Jordan in Wetumpka, AL. Jonathan Acker was elected state Governor. Awesome job! If you would like more information about TeenPact, visit their website at
