TAP Affidavit of Academic Honesty

I, the undersigned, do hereby agree that all contents of my TAP Senior Project Binder are original works constructed wholly by myself using the resources and guidance provided by my TAP instructor and or Chowchilla Union High School. I, the undersigned, do hereby understand that plagiarism of any sort will not be tolerated at any stage of the construction of this portfolio including any rough draft submitted to my TAP instructor. Plagiarism is hereby defined as: 1. Stealing somebody's work or idea: the process of copying another person's idea or written work and claiming it as original 2. Something plagiarized: a piece of written work or an idea that somebody has copied and claimed as his or her own

I hereby further understand that if I am the source of the plagiarized work I will be considered just as guilty as the person that is claiming it for themselves. I, the undersigned, do hereby understand that plagiarism/cheating is covered in my Student Handbook under the section of Class II infractions and will suffer the same consequences as set forth by the Chowchilla Union High School Board of Trustees. 1.

1st Offense: Zero grade for the assignment, no possibility for makeup, referral to Assistant principal.

2nd Offense: Same as above, Semester grade for TAP lowered one grade.

3rd Offense: F grade for the class, referral to Assistant Principal.

Furthermore, I understand that if I am caught cheating or with plagiarized work my Senior Year all of the above will apply and I will not graduate with my class and will have to makeup the TAP Portfolio in Summer School following my Senior year.
