MAIN ACTIVITIES: M. Vukich received his degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Pisa in 2003. He was involved on genomics researches both at the University of Pisa and Helsinki. In 2008, he achieved his PhD from the University of Pisa. In the same year, M. Vukich joined Kayser Italia. Since then, he has been involved in several experiment to be carried out in space to investigate the interplay between microgravity and biological systems. He is currently Head of the Life Science work unit supervising and supporting the development of Life Science projects. His current assignments include the integration of the experiment Nanoparticles and Osteoporosis (NATO), to be performed on board the ISS in the frame of ASI’s FUTURA mission.
