Review proposed legislation affecting the DOF and its Bureaus and Offices pending before and/or under consideration by both Houses of Congress, the Inter-Agency Technical Committee on Taxation and the Cabinet Assistance System (CAS) and prepare comments/recommendations thereon;

2.

Initiate the preparation of legislative/policy proposals national and local government on finance, taxation and related matters for on submission to the Office of the President, the Cabinet and/or Congress; and

3.

Perform such other functions as may be assigned from, time to time by the Secretary of Finance and/or any of the Undersecretary of Finance.

The Undersecretary of Finance in charge of the Group or Sector directly affected by the particular legislative or;pol.icy proposal shall act as Co-chairman the of Committee for purposes of the discussions thereof. the To aid Committee in the performance of its assigned tasks, a Secretariat and a Technical Working Group are also hereby created to be composed of ranking personnel of the Department and its Bureaus, Offices and to Agencies designated be by the Chairman this of Committee. The Committee Chairman is hereby authorized to Committee rules prescribe including the frequency of Committee meetings, preparation of committee reports and recommendations, record-keeping, liaison work, and the like. All Committee outputs and reports shall be submitted

to the Secretary of Finance thru the Bureau Director or Undersecretary the Finance Office/Agency and Head of concerned.
