Designation of Provincial and City Treasurers as Co-Chairmen of Local Examining Committees in specified regional centers in connection with the Real Property Assessing Officer examination to be conducted by the Department of Finance in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission on August 14, 1977 All Provincial and City Treasurers concerned

The Department of Finance, in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission will give an entrance and qualifying examination for Real Property Assessing Officer on August 14, 1977 in the following places. San Fernando, La Union; Tuguegarao, Cagayan; Manila; Legaspi City; Iloilo City; Cebu City; Zamboanga City; Cagayan de Oro City; Davao City and Cotabato City. In this connection, Provincial and City Treasurers of the above mentioned places are hereby designated as Co-Chairmen of the Local Examining Committee who shall coordinate with the Civil Service Regional Directors to render the necessary assistance for an efficient administration of said examination, namely. (a) making arrangements for the use of school buildings as places of examination; (b) accepting application, collecting examination fees, administering oath to applicants and processing applications subject to review by the Commission; (c) Assigning personnel to help in the administration and supervision of the examination including preparation of payrolls, itineraries of travel; (d) providing a secured place where the examination materials have to deposited; and

(c) supervising the examination. The said Treasurers are hereby authorized to advance from available local funds such necessary expenses incurred in connection with the conduct of this examination which shall be refunded by this Department to the local government units concerned upon submittal of the corresponding bills and supporting papers, subject to the usual accounting and auditing regulations.
