In celebration of the Volunteers' Month, the Red Cross Youth together with the Health Services of the Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter will hold a Volympics 2017 (Volunteer Olympics) in which to promote awareness on HIV/AIDS and Substance Abuse prevention thus making the youth having a healthy lifestyle and to promote camaraderie and friendship of youth volunteers through sports. HIV/AIDS & Substance Abuse Prevention- (HASAP) Volunteer Olympics 2017 I.
BACKGROUND In celebration of the Volunteers' Month, the Red Cross Youth together with the Health Services of the Philippine Red Cross - Quezon City Chapter will hold a Volympics 2017 (Volunteer Olympics) in which to promote awareness on HIV/AIDS & Substance Abuse Prevention thus making the youth having a healthy lifestyle and to promote camaraderie and friendship among youth volunteers through sports.

To promote camaraderie and friendship among volunteers through sports activities. To showcase the talents of each volunteer. To promote healthy lifestyle by engaging volunteers into sports. To promote programs that help young people among high school and college students under Red Cross Youth program by providing a venue for skills development in the field of HASAP.

QUALIFICATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS
PARTICIPANTS Senior RCY Councils/Schools (30 members participating per team) Senior Plus RCY Councils/Schools (30 members participating per team) College RCY Councils/Schools (30 members participating per team)
A. TEAM COACHES • Must have a MAAS ID B. YOUTH PARTICIPANTS PER RCY COUNCIL/ SCHOOL • Must have a MAAS ID • Must be endorsed by the school and with parent/ guardian's consent.
SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS

A participating school should submit the following: • List of participants (only 1 adviser and 30 RCY members) with their MAAB ID number. • Duly accomplished Form and Confirmation Slip Deadline for submission will be on/before December 13, 2017; 5:00 pm VII.
ACTIVITIES HASAP Volympics 2017 will compose of Ten (10) activities, mainly: 1. Zumba Dance 2. Basketball 3. Volleyball 4. Badminton 5. Table Tennis 6. Chess 7. Palarong Pinoy 8. Quiz Bee 9. Poster Making Contest 10. Slogan Making Contest

The President of Chapter Adviser's League (CAL) shall be the overall Chairman of the Olympics. An officiating staff shall oversee the cleanliness of the competition assigned by the President of CAL. The officiating staff shall assign referees and umpires for the competition. The officiating staff shall not take part in any competition.
