Participation of public schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 200S entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-

on-Task. This Office also reiterates the provision of Republic Act No. SS46 otherwise known as "AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE OF TICKETS AND/OR COLLECTION OF CONTRIBUTIONS FOR WHAT EVER PROJECT OR PURPOSE FROM STUDENTS AND TEACHERS", attendance to said actlvity shall be on a voluntary basis.

To disseminate Philippine culture and arts education through teaching of the arts To provide teacher-artists/cultural worker-experts a venue for sharing varied experiences in performing arts practice articulating their creative process, and discussing problems on culture and arts, thus fostering unity and strengthening linkages among local culture and art groups To inculcate in their minds and souls a sense of patronage and pride in their rich cultural heritage as a gateway to development, unification and progress To raise awareness of Philippine culture and arts through the development and production of resource materials To foster unity and strengthen linkages among the public school-program recipients in the field of culture and arts To initiate a blueprint for a substantial performing art life in order to celebrate outstanding performing art works and teacher-artists' achievements and contributions To pay tribute and homage to teacher-artists'/ cultural workers' works and achievements, and to discuss possibilities of sustaining their work in the context of socio-economic, cultural and political conditions.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. '2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliar1ce Therewith.
