ANNOUNCING THE CONDUCT OF THE ADMISSION TEST AT THE DON ALEJANDRO ROCES SR. SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY HIGH SCHOOL FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018

For the information and guidance of the field, the Admission Test for incoming Grade 7 Students of Don Alejandro Roces, Sr. Science and Technology high School with the curriculum Strengthened Technical-Vocational Educational Program (STVEP) will be administered on March 4, 2017 and March 11, 2017. 2. Elementary school pupils graduating from public and private schools in Quezon City this school year are qualified to apply provided they meet the requisite q ualifications. Enclosed are the guidelines for admission and forms to be accomplished. 1

3. All required documents should be properly accomplished · and submitted to the I Guidance Office of Don Alejandro Roces, Sr. Science and Technology High I • School on or before February 24, 2017 (Friday). 4. The School Examination Committee shall be headed by the Principal of Don Alejandro Roces, Sr. Science and Technology High School with the Guidance Counselor as Co-Chair. The Department Head/Chairman of English, Science, Mathematics and Technology shall serve as members. 5. The conduct of the examination shall be supervised by the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) and the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent In-Charge of District IV. 6. Immediate dissemination of the contents of this Memorandum is esired.

GUIDELINES FOR THE ADMMISION TO THE DON ALEJANDRO ROCES, SR. SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST 1. The applicant must possess the following qualifications:

A candidate for graduation in any public or private elementary school in the country who is presently residing in Quezon City; Must not have a grade lower than 80% in all subjects during the first and second grading periods; Must be in good health and physically capable to handle tools and equipment in Technology subjects; Must be of good moral character and have never been involved in any violation of school rules and regulations in the elementary school. I

2. Each applicant shall be charged an Examination Fee of P150.00 to defray expenses in the processing, administration and scoring of test papers and other incidental expenses.

3. The Administration Test will be administered on March 4, 2017 (First Batch) and March 11, 2017 (Second Batch) consecutively at Don Alejandro Races , Sr. Science and Technology High School. '

4. Results of the Admission Test will be posted at DARSSTHS Bulletin and at the dfficial website on or before April 7, 2017. DARSSTHS website can be accessed ~t ROCESHSFACEBOOK ACCOUNT. I

5. 1hose who passed the written admission test shall be interviewed on April 19-21, 2017. ' 6. The Admission Test shall consist of a Standardized Test, Mental Ability Test and Proficiency Test. (Eng, SCI, Math, Fil and T.V.E.) 7. The following are the requirements for the Admission Test: • Certified true Xerox copy of Form 138 (report card) with grades for the 1st and 2nd grading periods this school year duly signed by the school principal/registrar. , • Duly accomplished application form with 1 x1 ID pictures with complete name (2 pcs.) 1

8. Application forms are available at the Guidance Office of Don Alejandro Races, Sr. Science and Technology High School. 9. All forms duly signed and accomplished shall be submitted to DARSSTHS nat later than February 24, 2017. 10. The registrants/examinees should be present during the submission of the said documents.
