Client Support Specialist Reports to: Family & Program Director Job Type: Part Time Location: New York, New York Overview: The Client Support Specialists are the backbone of Serenity. They interface with clients on a regular basis and communicate all relevant information to House Managers, Case Managers, Family & Program Director, and executive staff. They work closely with clients, and ensure that all house duties are completed. Duties:  Be aware of all clients in Serenity properties and their individual needs and concerns.  Provide support and structure to clients at Serenity properties.  Ensure that all Serenity confidentiality, safety, and privacy policies are upheld both within and outside of Serenity properties.  Communicate regularly with operations team for anything operations related  Communicate regularly with case managers and program director about any issues that arise with clients.  Complete and send nightly report to the appropriate email group after all night shifts.  Enforce all house rules at Serenity properties.  Serve as a positive, energetic, and professional model to all clients staying at Serenity properties.  Administer drug tests as outlined in Serenity’s drug testing protocol.  Distribute client medications as outlined in Serenity’s medication protocol.  Know relapse and crisis management protocol and execute if needed.  Be trained in overdose protocol and CPR and perform if necessary.  Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of Serenity properties, performing all necessary house duties during each shift.  Be comfortable operating all appliances, electronics, and other systems in Serenity properties.  Effectively perform room checks of clients’ spaces.  Uphold Serenity standards for food preparation, presentation, and cleaning policies.  Provide additional support to clients as a Sober Coach or Sober Companion as needed. Requirements:  In recovery and passionate about the recovery and treatment field  Comfortable enforcing house rules  Strong attention to detail  Strong verbal communication skills  Familiar with New York and comfortable showing clients how to navigate the city
