Community Coordinator Frogtown Farm is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Community Coordinator to support our community outreach and engagement efforts, while also providing important operations and administrative support. Organization Summary Frogtown Farm is a community-based nonprofit organization that is located in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota. The farm will be one of the largest urban farms in the country with 5 acres of land within a 12.7-acre park. Frogtown Farm has experienced enthusiastic and broad-based support from the community, public and private sectors and the philanthropic community. The vision of Frogtown Farm is to create a hub for a healthy food system that fills gaps in food production, storage, manufacturing and distribution. With spokes that reach beyond its acreage and the Frogtown neighborhood, Frogtown Farm will be recognized as a destination for those seeking learning, innovation, reflection, celebration and authentic community. Rooted in values of social equity, justice and inter-connectedness, this urban farm on the hill will serve as a model for multi-cultural community and a catalyst for economic development, wealth creation, land stewardship, community pride and sustainability. Position The position will be full-time, reporting directly to the Executive Director. The salary range is $30,000$40,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Essential Duties & Responsibility Partnerships & Communications (60%) • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with partner organizations and community members • Promptly respond to any questions, concerns, comments or inquiries from community members and partners • Work with the Executive Director to engage partner organizations in developing a collective impact plan for the farm and neighborhood (two year process) • • •
Develop and maintain database for program participants, community members and partners Responsible for developing newsletter content, sending electronic newsletter, updating social media and website weekly with all staff members Update community members, partners and supporters through managing Frogtown Farm’s social media, website and email marketing

Manage organizational calendar with local events, conferences, programs and other opportunities Conduct tours for community members as needed
Administrative & Operations (30%) • Support Executive Director with administrative tasks • General office support, including answering phones, checking mail, maintaining office supplies, responding to email inquiries promptly • Provide fundraising support including, writing acknowledgement letters, entering donors into database, mailing letters Program & Event Support (10%) • Support local events, in coordination with Organizers, by tabling/exhibiting for Frogtown Farm • Outreach for farm programs in collaboration with Organizers • Manage communications with individuals and partners that are farming on Frogtown Farm site • Be an active and articulate ambassador for Frogtown Farm Required Qualifications: Demonstrated Skills & Experience • • • • • • • •

Multiple language skills and/or interest in learning additional basic language skills (priority for languages spoken in Frogtown: Hmong, Somali, Spanish) Experience in urban farming initiatives Bachelor’s degree Knowledge of Frogtown neighborhood
