Chief David M. Brown Hemet Police Department
CCW LICENSE PROCESS PACKET
STATEMENT On behalf of the men and women of the Department, we would like to thank you for taking the first steps toward your CCW license. I hope you find this to be a valuable resource offered by your Department and your City. Although much has changed since the initial officers and civilians began operations, the commitment by the members of this Department to partnering with its residents and providing the highest level of public service possible has never wavered. Dedication to protection through progressive measures and awareness is paramount to the success of our City. It is for these reasons and the continued improvement as a community that we are proud to offer this service to you and your fellow residents. Please take the time to review this Packet in detail as it provides valuable information regarding the process to obtain your CCW license. Providing this service has conventionally demanded resources that were an impractical burden on the Department and the taxpayer budget, but we have found a solution. That’s why the MyCCW.us agents and Department staff have coordinated efforts to effectively implement this Program, so that you have an alternative and expeditious option to exercise the privilege of possessing a CCW license.
